Narendra Modi Stadium
The Narendra Modi Stadium, located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, is an international cricket ground and the home of the Gujarat Cricket Team as well as Team Gujarat in the Indian T20 League. It holds the title of the largest cricket stadium in the world.
Originally known as the Motera Stadium and later the Sardar Patel Stadium, it was built in 1983 with a seating capacity of 49,000. The stadium underwent its first renovation in 2006 and was completely rebuilt in 2020. On February 24, 2021, the Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) officially renamed it the Narendra Modi Stadium.
