Reminiscent of the 2015 World Cup final, Mitchell Starc spearheaded the dismantling of the second-best team, as KKR secured their third IPL title in a dominating fashion, their second in Chennai. Starc kicked off with a spectacular delivery, setting the tone for what was the most complete bowling attack of the tournament.
The pitch offered seam movement for the first seven overs and then some grip, making it tough for SRH. They were bowled out for a mere 113, the lowest total in an IPL final.
