Windhoek Hosts ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2 (2023-27): Namibia, USA, and UAE Battle for ODI World Cup Qualification

The Windhoek part of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2 (2023-27) starts on Monday, September 16. Three of the eight teams in the league will play in this 10-day event, featuring six matches. This tournament is part of the second-level competition to qualify for the next ODI World Cup.

Namibia, the host country, will play alongside the United Arab Emirates and the United States of America. All the matches will take place at Wanderers Cricket Ground in Windhoek, starting daily at 9:30 am local time.

The other teams in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2 are Canada, the Netherlands, Nepal, Oman, and Scotland. This is the second edition of the CWC League 2.

The first edition of the tournament, held from 2019 to 2023, had seven teams, but the 2023-27 edition has eight teams competing.
